British Olympic Swimmer and British Record Holder

Adam has swum out a couple of times since Christmas – at the City of Derby Meet and at the BUCS Championships – both at Sheffield, and both unrested and unshaven. He also swam short-course in the UK Challenge at his home pool, the Sportsvillage at the University of Hertfordshire.  His 53.33s 100m fly was the fifth best time nationwide over the past 12 months and broke Roberto Pavoni’s East Region record.

Away from racing in the pool, Adam has been interviewed and filmed by the Telegraph (on behalf of British Swimming sponsors British Airways) and by broadcaster ITN.  These proved to be a fun diversion from the serious business at hand! Now the countdown to the British Gas Championships has begun in earnest.

Adam started his three-week taper on Tuesday, February 14th.
